About the Warrior Drive 5
The Warrior Drive Five is a project of the Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce, the same people who have brought you the award-winning Blue Ridge BBQ Festival since 1994.
The Warrior Drive 5 was a popular race during the 1980s, but for some reason it ended. Revived in 2010, we challenge you to find a better all-around five-mile course anywhere in the Carolinas. The course begins and ends on the track of beautiful Harmon Field, the home of the famous Blue Ridge Barbecue and Music Festival. Learn more about the course.
The top three overall male and female, plus top three overall masters male and female runners will earn cash prizes: $100 first place, $50 second place, and $30 third place. The top three male and female finishers in each age group will receive custom-designed medals, and all participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt. Bring your family and spend the day. Harmon Field has a large shaded play area for children, numerous picnic areas and the Pacolet River for frolicking
